Mary Schoonwinkel married John (or Herbert) Harrison and had two children Thomas (RIN49) and Bertie (RIN (1319). She was then divorced from him. He was later killed in a road accident while travelling. He was Jewish.
Mary Elizabeth joined the Railway Station Tea Room in Cape Town, then had her own restuarants. She met John Tommy Weston (RIN 1317) a Canadian and married him during the First World War. He died in hospital in Port Elizabeth and was buried in the South End Cemetery, Port Elizabeth.
