1.
It would appear that Thomas Shone had children by three ladies.

s-1 Sarah Philips
s-2 Hannah Cornwall
s-3 Ann Hiscock

Dudley Shone has a question mark next to Hannah Cornwall. From this I assume
that he is not sure of his data. His chart indicates a child James born in
1818.

He documents two children by Ann Hiscock. William born in 1840 and Sarah born
in 1844 and death dated 1917.

Note. R.L. Aspeling has on file a George Shone Hiscock (RIN 1103) who married
Olive Baikie (RIN 1090)

2.
"I don't think I can help you with George Shone Hiscock. Ann Hiscock (born
Hunt) was indeed Thomas Shone's mistress after his wife died, and bore him two
children. She was still married to James Hiscock, though he was no longer
living at Clumber. Ann and James Hiscock had three children as far as I know:

Edward John Hiscock b. 1830
George Richard Hiscock b. 1831
Mary Ann Hiscock b. 1834

However, Lilly Annie Shone (RIN 1484) married a George Henry Hiscock. They had
a son George, whose wife I have listed a O. Beurke, but I guess this could be
in fact Olive Baikie.

You could probably find out from Heather Shone whether George Henry Hiscock's
father was George Richard Hiscock or Edward John Hiscock."

He died by drowning. His son George Clarkson shone was born a few months after
his death.

"There is what Dudley Shone's brother Fred calls "mysterious muddling" over the
birth of Thomas Shone's eldest son, George.

His baptismal record states his birth date as 30 Nov 1811 but in his journal
his father writes it as 30 Nov 1814. The earlier date puts the birth 3 years
before the parents' marriage, the later just a month after."
